1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.

This robot combination is simple to set up and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the tiny rug or area mats I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide margin over obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
Its app has a streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting, and view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. You'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to clean dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, robot vacuum cleaner best was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home this really helps it get into places that other vacuums can't reach. The K10 Plus also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
